2013 confirmed the strength and the implementation of the radio offers
of
Atresmedia
in the Spanishmarket, accruing an audience of 4,812,000
listeners fromMonday toFriday.
OndaCero
,
EuropaFM
and
MelodíaFM
improved thedataof previous years.
According to the EGM (EncuestaGeneral deMedios, General Media Sur-
vey) of 2013,
Onda Cero
maintains an average audience of 2,598,000
listeners and consolidates its secondposition in the rankingof generalist
radio stations, surpassing theCadenaCopebymore than700,000 listen-
ers anddoubling the audienceof Radio 1, RadioNacional deEspaña. The
dataof
OndaCero
isverysimilar to thedataachievedduring theprevious
year andmust be analysed taking into account the fall in consumptionof
generalist radio, estimated as half amillion listener. It should also be re-
membered that
OndaCero
increased itsaudience remarkably in the three
previousyears,with increasesof 130,000, 179,000and 131,000 listeners in
2010, 2011 and 2012, respectively.
The market share of
Onda Cero
within generalist radio was placed at
21.1%, (+ 1.8 of share), 8.1 points above Cope, which shows the loyalty of
the listeners to a programming based on three fundamental principles:
continuity, balance and respect for the pluralism of Spanish society. At
Onda Cero
the aim to consolidate amodel of plural, proximate and par-
ticipative radiobecame a reality.
