Corporate Responsibility at

Atresmedia

has been evolving since its introduction into the com-

pany in 2004 when it was of a more philanthropic nature and involved social initiatives such as

the “Un Puente Solidario” campaign for the Red Cross which raised more than 8 million euros for

those affected by the tsunami in the Indian Ocean. It currently has a more strategic and cross-cut-

ting role in the Organisation, and a more proactive focus that has allowed the Group to become a

leader in corporate responsibility in the sector and among the largest listed companies.

The system is structured around an Internal CR Committee that is responsible for ensuring com-

pliance with the commitments defined in the Corporate Policies and Codes and for transmitting

them to the entire organisation. The Committee also establishes the annual corporate responsi-

bility objectives for each area and is responsible for implementing these and reporting on their

monitoring.

The management of Corporate Responsibility at

is aimed at continuous improve-

ment, taking as its foundation the analysis of stakeholder expectations and the result of the initi-

atives launched for each of these.
