The increase in child obesity globally led
Objetivo Bienestar
to make the fight against
this public health problem one of its main challenges in 2015. Globally, around 20% of the
world's population is classified as overweight.
The initiative has a version aimed at children,
Objetivo Bienestar Junior
(formerly
El
Estirón
), which aims to promote sport and healthy eating habits among children, in order
to reduce the high obesity rates existing for this group.

year. For 2016, the expectation is that a new
agreement will be signed to continue launching
joint awareness actions in order to promote
healthy eating habits among children and their
families.
