Fully amortised intangible assets in use at 31 December 2015 amounted to EUR 266,163
thousand (31 December 2014: EUR 235,579 thousand).
The impairment of intangible assets amounting to EUR 190 thousand in 2015 (2014: EUR
3,191 thousand) relates to the impairment of audiovisual cinema productions detected as a
result of analysing the recoverability of the related investment through a case-by-case
analysis of the value in use of each film. This analysis takes into account up-to-date
estimates of the income produced in each of the commercial exploitation windows and, if
necessary, an impairment loss is recognised under “Programme Amortisation and Other
Procurements” since the impairment relates to cinema productions shown on television
channels.
