We ended the 2013 financial year with the satisfaction of having done a
good joband surpassedourmost optimisticexpectations inayearwhich
wasmarkedbyamarket incrisis. In thiscomplicatedcontext,

hadahistoricyear andwas strengtheneddue to itsaccurate strategyand
placed itself inamagnificentposition toaddress2014,whichwehopewill
be the turningpoint towards growth.
Atresmedia
is themost profitable audio-visual group in our country, and
in 2013 it was consolidated in all the markets where it operates: televi-
sion, radio, advertising, internet and cinema. Its offer, which is based on
plurality, quality, talent, creativity and support to the industry has won
the respect of themarket, theadvertisers, thepublicand theaudio-visual
sector, which has meant not only the improvement in our earnings and
audiences, but also the revaluationof theCompanyon theStockMarket.
I trust that the worst has passed and that the 2014 financial year will
enable us to establish the bases to address 2015 brimmingwith new op-
portunities.
2013was alsomarked by themerger with
laSexta
, a challengewe over-
came successfully in record time, andwhichmadeusbigger and consoli-
dated
Atresmedia
as the referential communicationsgroup inourcountry.
We directly manage seven television channels, three radio stations. We
produce successful cinema, we lead the advertisingmarket and are pio-
neers in thenewdigital communication.All ourdivisionsgrew throughout
2013 and all of them amply surpassed theobjectiveswe hadplanned.
2013was thegrandyearof
AtresmediaTelevisión
which registeredanav-
erage historic audience of 28.8%, three pointsmore than those obtained
in 2012, whichmade it co-leaders in audience.
Antena 3
ended 2013with
13.4% audience share, its best result in four years.
laSexta
was strength-
ened in the first year of themerger, it obtained the best result in the last
three financial years and surpassedCuatro for the first time.
