Atresmedia has received the second prize in this year's Supercuidadores Awards, in the media category, for its initiative of Book Clubs for the elderly. The corporate volunteering activity, which began on April 23, 2021, counts with the participation of the entities Adopta un Abuelo, Grandes Amigos y Amigos de los Mayores and 21 Atresmedia volunteers who periodically meet their groups (formed by almost 100 elderly people). Since the launch of the activity, Atresmedia has donated more than 230 books and more than 90 meetings have been held.

Supercuidadores is an entity promoted by the International University of La Rioja (UNIR) that provides services aimed at family groups, family and professional caregivers, people suffering from some type of illness, elderly people, or people with disability or dependency.

The seventh edition of the Supercuidadores awards focused on the recognition and dignity of caregivers, giving visibility to people and entities that have given their best to help the elderly, sick, disabled or dependent.
