Atresmedia and Fundación Universia launch the fourth call for CAPAZ scholarships, a joint project to promote the employability of people with disabilities in the audiovisual sector.
Once again, 30 people will benefit from one of these scholarships, being able to choose any course from the Atresmedia Formación catalogue. To adapt to the specific needs of each student,
Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to learn from the best professionals in the audiovisual sector. At the end of their training, they will receive a diploma accrediting the training they have completed.
Atresmedia Group will finance 80% of the training scholarshipfor each student and Fundación Universia will make these training aid known to the people with disabilities to whom it directs its activities. The Capaz scholarship project has been running since January 2021 and more than 150 people have already obtained their scholarship.
The requirements to access the scholarships are:
- Being 18 years old or older.
- Having a certificate of disability equal to or greater than 33%.
- Providing an updated resume.
In addition, having a Certificate of Higher Education or an university degree related to Journalism, Media, Marketing or Advertising and PR will be positively valued.
To apply for their Capaz scholarship, candidates must register through this linkand select a maximum of three courses from the Atresmedia Formación catalogue in order of preference. Scholarships will be awarded in the order of arrival of applications that meet all the requirements.
This initiative is part of the commitments acquired by Atresmedia in its General Corporate Responsibility Policy and in its Human Resources Policy, which are materialized in the Company's Equality Plan, as well as in a disability management strategy that revolves around three lines of action, all of them of equal priority: the promotion of employability and training, the accessibility of the contents and External and internal awareness of the reality of this group.

Atresmedia Formación is an educational project of Atresmedia Group to respond to the growing, continuous and specific training demand required by the audiovisual environment. Its monographic courses are specialized in different audiovisual areas, paying special attention to a methodology that guarantees the quality of teaching.
