Box office performance In 2017 Atresmedia Cine released nine feature films which grossed close to 30 million euros at the box office and drew over 4.9 million filmgoers. Five of its films ranked among the top 10 grossing Spanish films in 2017 ( Señor, dame paciencia , Toc , Contratiempo , El guardián invisible , El bar ) and a further two among the top 15 ( Abracadabra and Villaviciosa de al lado , which was already a hit in 2016). At the Málaga film festival Atresmedia Cine presented three of its productions. Two titles competing for awards, the thriller Plan de Fuga , directed by Iñaki Dorronsoro, which won the biznaga for best soundtrack, and the thriller La niebla y la doncella .
