SDG Atresmedia actions helping to accomplish the goal Involvement in forums Atresmedia is an active member and collaborator of the main sustainability forums and platforms, including: • Forética: in 2017, Atresmedia hosted and acted as media partner –for the third straight year– of the VII International Corporate Volunteering Week (‘Give&Gain’), organised by Forética. • Global Compact: in October, November and December of 2017, Atresmedia voluntarily broadcast across all its television channels, radio stations and online platforms the communication campaign of the UN Global Compact and Volunteering and Strategy with the hashtag #COMPANIES4SDGS. The aim was to raise public awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations while calling on companies and citizens alike to make them a reality by 2030. • Fundación SERES: Atresmedia helped draw up a report titled ‘A vision of corporate social responsibility from the Board’. • Responsible Media Forum: Atresmedia helped draw up a report called ‘The future of responsible media’. Partnerships • Emergency Committee: Atresmedia joined this committee in 2017, which brings together six international NGOs to jointly tackle the public response to humanitarian crises. • International Cooperation: Atresmedia, together with NGO Cooperación Internacional, organised and broadcast the eleventh edition of Company Solidarity Day. • Fundación Atresmedia raises awareness into education alongside Samsung and Santillana. • Fundación Atresmedia heightens awareness of different disabilities in partnership with Fundación Randstad. • Atresmedia fights against gender-based violence along with Fundación Mutua Madrileña. • Atresmedia champions road safety and promotes medical investigation alongside Fundación AXA. Radio content • Onda Cero Bizkaia hands out annual prizes to worthy projects and valuable support from the community. Volunteers in the Company Solidarity Day.
