As it does every year, Atresmedia has taken part in celebrating the SDGs' anniversary to raise employee awareness of the need to drive real change in order to secure a fair and sustainable future. As of now, only 17% of the SDGs are on track, underscoring the importance of governments, businesses, and citizens continuing to mobilize to increase their contribution.
Atresmedia organized an interactive awareness activity in which Group employees could participate, learning about actionable steps they can implement daily to improve their environment. To complement this awareness initiative, internal communication was sent to employees detailing the actions Atresmedia has implemented since the 2030 Agenda launch in 2015 to support the achievement of the SDGs.
Additionally, to publicly reinforce its commitment to the United Nations' 2030 Agenda, Atresmedia once again joined the #SDGsasOurFlag campaign. This campaign is part of the international #Togetherforthesdgs initiative driven by the UN Global Compact and involving multiple countries. It aims to have various global actors showcase their commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the anniversary marking the halfway point of their timeline.
These initiatives, framed within the Group's sustainability strategy, contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. On this 9th anniversary, the Group emphasized providing employees with resources on how they can individually contribute to these goals, as it is vital for each and every one of us to be part of the change.
