At 8:30 p.m., March 22, the façade of Atresmedia Group’s headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes went dark as a symbolic gesture, joining iconic buildings and landmarks around the world.
By supporting La Hora del Planeta, Onda Cero aligns with thousands of cities, businesses, and organizations worldwide that will switch off their lights to demonstrate their commitment to a more sustainable future—an effort in line with Luz Verde’s objectives.
In addition to turning off Atresmedia Group’s façade, the sports program ‘Radioestadio’, hosted by Edu García, also took part in the symbolic action by switching off the lights of Onda Cero’s Studio 1 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., reinforcing the network’s commitment to the fight against climate change.
Launched in Sydney in 2007, La Hora del Planeta has become one of the world’s most impactful environmental movements, symbolizing the urgent need to protect biodiversity and combat global warming.
