The day began with a lecture on recycling, given by Ecomar experts. During the lecture, the importance of keeping natural environments clean was emphasized, and practical tips were provided on how to properly recycle waste.

After this, the volunteers were divided into two groups with the goal of collecting all the trash in the dock area of the reservoir,like cigarette butts, bottle caps, cans, and plastic bottles during two rounds of clean-up.

Thanks to this activity, a total of 2,000 cigarette butts, numerous bottle caps, cans, and plastic bottles were collected. 29.3 kg of waste were rescued from the San Juan reservoir.
