The Emergency Committee was born to jointly manage the citizen response to a humanitarian crisis.

Acción Contra el Hambre, the Spanish Committee of ACNUR, Médicos del Mundo, Oxfam Intermón, Plan International and World Vision are the six international NGOs that integrate the Emergency Committee, whose main purpose is to coordinate the funds raised rapidly and effectively.

Atresmedia will contribute to broadcast through its television and radio channels a solidarity call to the citizenship in the humanitarian crisis detected by the Emergency Committee, in order to spread all the information to help in each case.

Thanks to the collaborative effort the urgent needs that arise from a humanitarian emergency will be globally and equally approached, because the NGOs will cover the fields were they are specialized: refuge, first aid, food security, health care, water, sanitation and hygiene, humanitarian and child protection, and psychosocial support.
