The scholarship holders will have the opportunity to learn from professionals with extensive experience in different subjects related to the media and business sectors. The Atresmedia Group will finance 80% of the training scholarship to each student and Fundación Universia will disseminate these training aids to people with disabilities. To access them, candidates must be over 18 years of age, have a disability certificate equal to or greater than 33% and a Professional Training or University Degree related to Journalism, Media Communication, Marketing or Advertising and Public Relations.
The collaboration agreement has been signed by the Corporate General Director of Atresmedia, Patricia Pérez, and the Director of Fundación Universia, Sonia Viñas, at the headquarters of the audiovisual group, in an event that was attended by Lucio Fernandez, director of Atresmedia Human Resources department and Susana Gato, Corporate Responsibility responsible.
The initiative is part of the commitments Atresmedia acquired in its General Corporate Responsibility Policy and in its Human Resources Policy, which are materialized in the Company's Equality Plan, as well as in a disability management strategy that revolves around three lines of action: promotion of employability and training, accessibility of our contents and internal and external awareness of the reality of this group.
