Atresmedia and Fundación Universia, entities committed to diversity and the inclusion of people with disabilities, collaborate again by launching the second call for the Atresmedia - Fundación Universia scholarships, a joint project to promote the employability of people with disabilities in the media sector. The students who get a scholarship, a total of 40 this, will access to any of the Atresmedia Formación courses.

They will have the opportunity to learn from professionals with extensive experience in different subjects related to media and business sectors. The Atresmedia Group will finance 80% of the scholarship for each student and Fundación Universia will disseminate the information within people with disabilities.

After the first edition success of the Atresmedia - Fundación Universia scholarships, from which 35 people with disabilities benefited, this new edition offers up to 40 vacants with the aim of improving the training offer and expanding the knowledge of people like Irene, who was able to study the Marketing y Contenidos bajo Demanda course last year and highlighted that "projects like those teach you contents that you couldn’t get in any other way", or like Ignacio, who was grateful that "all the information in the course was accessible and he was able to participate on equal terms with the rest of his colleagues”.

The requirements to access the scholarships are:

Being 18 years old or older.

Having a certificate of disability equal to or greater than 33%.

Providing an updated resume.

In addition, having a Certificate of Higher Educationor or an university degree related to Journalism, Media, Marketing or Advertising and PR will be positively valued.

To get one of the scholarship, candidates must apply through this link and select a maximum of 3 courses, in order of preference, from the Atresmedia Formación catalog. The granting of the scholarships will be carried out in order of arrival of the applications that meet all the requirements.

This initiative is part of the commitments acquired by Atresmedia in its General Corporate Responsibility Policy and in its Human Resources Policy, which are materialized in the Company's Equality Plan, as well as in a disability management strategy that revolves around three lines of action, all of which are of equal priority: the promotion of employability and training, the accessibility of our content and the internal and external awareness of the reality of this group.
