The Project is part of the collaboration agreement between Atresmedia Group and Fundación Universia, both entities committed to diversity and inclusion of people with disabilities. Thanks to this initiative, 30 people with disabilities have taken a course in the Atresmedia Formación catalogue, acquiring fundamental knowledge and communication tools that can be used for their training or job. All scholarship students have carried out their training without any barrier, since according to their specific needs, some of the courses were made accessible through signing and subtitling.

Isabel has taken more than five Atresmedia Formación courses in the last years and, after finding out about our scholarships on social networks, she was encouraged to submit her application. "Thanks to the Atresmedia Formación courses, I discovered I have communication skills" she says. She has received a scholarship in the Presentation on TV: News, Magazines and Special Programs course, in which she has reinforced some of the knowledge that she already had and has learned different communication techniques. In her own words, "the courses are taught by the best communication professionals."

On the other hand, Almudena, a student of Protocol, Organization of Events and Corporate Communication has taken the course on Social Networks Creating Content. Her experience has exceeded her expectations: "I have learned a lot, mainly how to guide social media content at events, which is the part that interests me the most," she explains. "In my case, having completed this course has allowed me to fulfil my dream of joining Atresmedia to do my internship".

Irene, a student of Marketing and on Demand Content course, highlights the professionalism of the teachers. «In my case the sessions were very participatory. I have learned many new things: how the big platforms work and their campaigns, the social networks they use... ». Irene believes that projects like this "teach content that you cannot get in any other way".

After the success of this edition, a second call will begin in September with the collaboration of Fundación Universia. In addition, Atresmedia will expand the project to other foundations and social entities whose objective is the socio-labor integration of people with disabilities.
