During the first half of 2022, a group of 15 volunteers from Atresmedia are collaborating periodically with Fundación Cibervoluntarios and Fundación Randstad providing online training to people with disabilities, at risk of social exclusion, young people and the elderly who want to improve their digital skills. The training topics are adapted to the needs of each group with the aim of making digitalisation a more inclusive reality.
This corporate volunteering project is being carried out together with Fundación Cibervoluntarios, and the Atresmedia employees participating in it are focusing on teaching elderly people how to use applications for mobile devices, which favour their autonomy and quality of life, and training young people from different educational centres and associations in the responsible use of technology and the verification of information. They also help people at risk of exclusion to learn how to carry out procedures through electronic administration.
In addition, the Atresmedia Volunteers also collaborate with Fundación Randstad to improve access to employment for people with disabilities, training them in digital marketing, use of social networks and communication techniques that are useful in their search for employment.
A remote volunteering project in which Atresmedia volunteers put their knowledge and experience with technology at the service of different vulnerable groups, nationwide, to help alleviate the digital divide they suffer. Because we are increasingly connected, but there are still many people who have problems getting by in the digital environment, and we do not want to leave anyone behind.
