Once again, Atresmedia has been recognized as one of the European climate leaders in the annual ranking published by the Financial Times. The Audiovisual Group has improved its position compared to the previous year, ranking 13th among Spanish companies with a score of 73 points, compared to 69.9 the previous year, and is the highest-ranked Spanish media company.
This distinction has been achieved thanks to the decarbonization strategy and the Group's efforts to drastically reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. Atresmedia's Net Zero strategy has led to a reduction of over 70% in its scope 1+2 emissions compared to 2019.
Additionally, the climate benchmark index CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) has also highly rated the Group's decarbonization strategy. For the first time, Atresmedia has achieved an A- rating in the CDP 2023 report, placing it above the industry average and its main competitor, which remained at a B.
In 2024, Atresmedia will continue to work towards advancing its decarbonization strategy and meeting its established goals.
